What’s In My On the Go Beauty Bag

Another September, another NYFW. With all the shows and events happening all over the city, you’re expected to look amazing 100% of the time.

That means your look has to last you from dawn until dusk or in my case, from beginning of the work day to the end of my last event. Even if you aren’t attending NYFW, these beauty essentials work for any occasion.

Personally, I like to keep my makeup look pretty natural. Mostly because I am not nearly talented enough to put on a full set of lashes, a winged eyeliner, or unicorn highlighter without looking that I belong in a circus. Touch ups are imperative people, and I have gathered a list of my top products to keep you fresh faced throughout the day.

1. Nars Velvet Lip Glide in Bound

Like I said earlier, I like to keep my look natural. This lip shade provides the perfect tint appropriate for all seasons without adding too much color to the lip. Plus, it’s long lasting so you can keep the reapplies to a minimum.

2. Urban Decay Afterglow in Fetish

I have said it before and I will say it again, I LOVE blush. This touch up is a must, because after a long day of constantly touching your face, you can easily lose your color. A quick sweep of this over your cheekbones and you are good to go.

3. E.L.F. Cosmetics Blush Brush

Guys this brush is literally $3. Need I say more?

4. Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara

If there is any beauty product that I won’t splurge on, it is mascara. The $6 brands work just as good as the $100 brands. The Covergirl Clump Crusher lengthens your lashes without leaving a ton of unwanted residue behind.

5. Becca Beach Lip and Cheek Tint in Guava

Did I mention I love blush? This product puts the life back in your face when you’ve feel like its all been sucked into an endless stream of emails. The tint looks incredibly natural and feels like you aren’t wearing anything at all.  Bonus: it smells amazing.

6. CoverFx Cream Concealer in G Light

I have counted on this concealer to save me from LaGuardia airports entire baggage claim building up under my eyes. If it can handle that job, it is up for anything.
