Dainty Gold Jewelry You Can Afford

Gold jewelry has had a comeback, and from where I sit, the trend isn’t going anywhere. While you may have grown accustomed to silvery sparkle when scrolling through Instagram, classic gold adds sophistication.

Regardless of which bloggers you follow, chances are you have seen them sport dainty gold jewelry on occasion. Whether they are donning their own brands collaborations (WeWoreWhat x Lulu DK we are looking at you) or just accessorizing to the nines, no feed is complete without a hand full of gold rings or a button down blouse accented with a gold necklace.

The upside? The team at KC (AKA me, it’s just me) are here for it. Gold jewelry elevates almost everything you have in your closet. From plain t-shirts to fancy cocktail dresses, a simple gold piece adds polish no matter how casual the look.

Therefore, you never have to take it off. The downside? Each and every piece linked on LiketoKnow.it forces you to make a decision between an accessory or a roof over your head. While we are all for a staple, compromising your next meal for clothes is not a habit we endorse…at least not often ;).

Though the roof over my head is nothing to write home about (I’ll take Never Trust a New York Apartment You See in a Movie for $500), a monogrammed signet ring is not quite enough for me to give it up. In my dreams, I bathe in BVLGARI. In my reality, I have 4 roommates.

Because of my refusal to accept the premise you have to have money to look good, I scoured the internet for affordable, simple, gold pieces. Turns out, they do exist.

1. Mejuri

You can’t talk about simple, gold jewelry without including Mejuri in the conversation. Though some of their pieces cost as much as $300+, many of their pieces ring up for under $100.

Mejuri Black Onyx Necklace $79; mejuri.com.

2. Argento Vivo

The blogger @Jera.bean introduced me to this brand via Instagram stories. After seeing the pieces and their prices, I ordered a necklace and two pairs of earrings. Each piece has solidified itself as one of my favorite jewelry pieces. Plus you get 15% off of your first purchase when you order from the website.

The Pearl Tube Hoop Earring $68; argentovivo.com.

3. Lulu DK

The brand popped onto my radar after WeWoreWhat announced her collab. Blogger brand collaborations consistently spark my curiosity, and this one did not disappoint. Psst, this weekend you can shop the collection for 40% off with code WWW40.

Petite Envelope Necklace $58; luludk.com.

4. Etsy

Most people associate Etsy.com with kitsch, and while that certainly exists, plenty of uber chic shops share the platform. A few examples: Grace Personalized, HL Collection, Lola Bean Jewelry.

5. Gorjana

If you are drawn to simplistic flatlays with gold jewelry RaNdOmLy ScaTTeReD throughout, Gorjana is your new go to.

7. Sarah Chloe

Personalization is the name of their game, and they do it well. Though their prices may me a little on the high side, each piece has potential to be your next staple.

8. Shashi

Handcrafted in NYC, these unique pieces take inspiration from around the world in each of their designs.
